Big Momma’s Lasagna

Instructions

    1. In a large skillet, cook sausage, ground beef, onion and garlic over med-heat until well browned. 
    2. Stir in Crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, and wine. Season with basil, Italian seasoning, 1 tablespoon salt, pepper, and tablespoon parsley.
    3. Let simmer for about 90 minutes, stirring occasionally. 
    4. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook noodles about 8-10 minutes. When done drain and rinse with cool water
    5. In a mixing bowl mix, combine ricotta, egg, remaining parsley, and 1/2 ts salt
    6. preheat over to 375 degrees
    7. To assemble, spread 1 1/2 cups of meat sauce in the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish, cover with noodles. Spread about 1/2 of ricotta mixture on top of noodles, top with 1/2 of the mozzarella and parmesan. Top with noodles, and repeat. Cover top with noodles and sprinkle Mozz and Parm on top. 
    8. Cover with foil and back 25 minutes
    9. remove the foil and cook another 25 minutes.
